Upload an AMP

One of MPAR’s core functions is the upload, management, and analysis of AMP (Asbestos Management Plan) reports.
AMP reports are uploaded from the Documents tab within an Asset.
How to upload an AMP
MPAR allows you to upload AMP reports generated by third parties (external companies).
To upload an AMP:
  1. Open the relevant Asset from the Assets module.
  2. Go to the Documents tab.
  3. Make sure you are in the AMP sub-tab.
  4. Click the AMP Document selector and choose the file from your computer.
  5. Edit the document name and report date, if needed.
  6. Click Submit.
Once submitted, the AMP will be registered in the platform.

Available actions for an uploaded AMP

After an AMP has been uploaded, the following actions are available from the document menu:
  • Open document: Opens the file in a new tab for viewing.
  • Edit: Allows you to modify the document name and recorded date.
  • Analyse document: Starts the AI-powered analysis process.
  • Generate QR code: Creates a QR code to share the document.
  • Archive: Moves the document to archive without deleting it, preserving traceability.
  • Replace document: Uploads a new file to replace the existing one.
  • Delete: Permanently removes the document from the Asset.

What are complementary reports?

Complementary reports are additional documents that address missing or unverified information from the main AMP.
These reports:
  • Do not replace the AMP.
  • Provide supplementary information.
  • Are linked to the original AMP.

What happens if I delete an AMP?

Deleting an AMP:
  • Does not automatically remove entries from the Asbestos Register.
  • Does remove the supporting documentation for those entries.
  • Also removes any complementary reports linked to the AMP.
While deletion is technically possible, it is not recommended to leave an Asset without an associated AMP.

How to share a report

To share an AMP uploaded to MPAR:
  1. Make sure the AMP is uploaded.
  2. Open the report menu.
  3. Select Generate QR code.
  4. In the modal, click Actions.
  5. Download the QR image or copy the generated link to share it.

AI Analysis

AMP reports uploaded to MPAR can be analysed using the AI tool.
The process consists of two stages:
1. Analyse the AMP
  1. Ensure the AMP is uploaded.
  2. Open the report menu.
  3. Select Analyse document.
  4. In the modal, choose the page range to analyse.
  5. It is recommended to exclude non-relevant sections such as the cover page, introduction, or general descriptions.
  6. Wait for the analysis process to complete.
2. Review the results
Once the analysis has been successfully completed:
  1. Open the menu of the generated analysis.
  2. Select Review.
  3. A new screen will display the detected results.
Carefully review each result to confirm the information is accurate before using it.
